Theo Rehak is de oprichter van The Dale Guild Type Foundry in Howell, New Jersey. Hij was de laatste persoon die werd opgeleid bij American Type Founders. Practical Typecasting bevat gedetailleerde technische informatie over het gieten van letters. Er bestaan geen vergelijkbare recente boeken over het onderwerp. Alleen al daarom is dit een belangrijk boek. Het is alleen nog antiquarisch te krijgen, voor stevige bedragen.
